We've done some fun things in the last month and we've also been pretty busy. On March 30th Siebe (my father-in-law) turned 70! We all went to Drenthe where Bert and Sylvia (Sister-in-law and her little fam.) live and celebrated Siebe's birthday there. It was fun! Siebe is in amazing shape for a 70 year old and works out (running and lifting weights) at least 3 days a week.
A good friend of ours, Kilian, got back from his mission in Russia and we are happy to have him home! A couple weeks after that we had the national (Netherlands and Antwerpen) church volleyball tournament. It was a long drive to get there, but it's always fun. I played a little and my arms were on fire! I always forget how much playing volleyball kills your forearms when you bump the ball everytime! Richard played with the guys from our ward and they had fun. They did pretty well for never having practiced haha!
About 2 weeks ago we went for a nice walk/hike in Kennemerduinen with Richard's parents and Bianca, Marcel and Jip. It was beautiful weather and we had a great time. Richard and I were the only ones who had been there before and the others were really impressed with how nice of a nature park it was. You don't get a lot of that in the Netherlands!
Last week I had finals and this week I started a new quarter at school. 8 more weeks and I am outta here!! I can't wait to spend the summer in the good old US of A!! Plus we got exciting news, my baby bro Trevor is getting married August 6th!! We are so excited to meet is fiancé Ali and to have her in the family!Siebe's Birthday party. Everyone ready to go for a walk.
